Keep your eyes on this page for more details JANUARY 2006 * Happy New Year to you all. Here is what will be happening this year: * We are looking to expand our live PA hire section, with the addition of one or two more systems. Even more exciting, is by the end of the year, we are aiming to have a "drive-away" hire facility where amps, speakers, mics, desks etc, will be available for self operation hire, and can be hired separately instead of having to hire a whole system. Click on P.A.hire and Equipment for details of our current systems available. * Nick will be continuing his great work in the recording side of things, with even more bands booked in to record. * Sunline is hoping by the end of the year to finally launch our Corporate Audio Visual section which will specialise in small to mid size conferences and corporate functions. * The Solution are part way through recording and mixing their first EP. Drum tracks were recorded at Sunline and the boys are in the process of finishing the songs off at their home studios. * Oyama are continuing to write and record for what could be their second and third full length CD's, even before the first one has been released! Could be a big year for the guys. * There are several initiatives Sunline Music is hoping to become involved in this year in the attempts to promote local original music. Keep your eyes on this page for more details JANUARY 2005 * Happy New Year to you all. This year looks like being another big year for Sunline. I know its such a cliché to say it will be bigger and better that last year, but it is true * We have added two packages to our PA hire department, with the mid size 1400w systems being brought in. Not only are we converting our 2000w Mackie rig to the 1400 w size, but we have added the Yorkville brand to our list of quality equipment. Click on P.A.hire and Equipment for more details. * Nick has been in the studio, recording a demo with Knucklepuk, and its sounds awesome. I believe it is the best sounding recording to come out of the northern beaches for the last decade. Yes i am bias, but if you want to check it out for yourself, visit www.purevolume.com/knucklepuk * Talking of Knucklepuk, watch out for them as they will be touring the country in March and April. * Lowride also have started writing new material for a new recording due to be completed by mid this year * Its great to see The Solution are back gigging again. After Parrish settling into the band, replacing Phil on guitar, the drummer Sean, decided to badly break his hand which meant the band had to delay their comeback by a further three months. Finally they get to play their first gig for a long time at the Excelsior at Surry Hills on Friday 21st Jan. I would recommend you check it out if you like your rock n roll. * Oyama are already starting to write songs for their second CD, even before the first one has been released. In what has been a bit of a coup for the band, their first not even released single "You don't Know Exactly What I Mean" has been gaining airplay on FBI's Sydney Unsigned show on Wednesday nights. * There are several initiatives Sunline Music is hoping to become involved in this year in the attempts to promote local original music.
